This weekend I took one of my regular trips to Birmingham for a fundraiser my friends put on. Kodus Linds and Paige. The Party was awesome. However, after the event, we ended up at Innisfree (Shannon photographed at Innisfree above), followed by a late night round of McDonald's and a dip in the hot tub. Big Macs and bikinis? Wow, I really was drunk.
Looking back at my adventurous night I'm reminded of a time when the haze of a smoke filled bar and the scent of yager wasn't unusual. At one point in the evening, Mr. Martin, Lindsey's father, overheard me talking about the ice luge and confusingly asked where I had seen one before. My response, "The fraternity houses of course, you sit at the bottom and wait for your shot". Damn, I miss college.

Peace, love and bohemian chic.
The photos listed above come from a hodge podge of different sources. The first of which are photos of model , Angela Lindvall and her family, featured in a 2009 edition of British Vogue. I'm obsessed with her babies' airbrushed tees. The following interiors are living rooms I found here and there but didn't get around to blogging until now. The one with the sunflowers GROWING in their house is Oscar De La Renta's living room. Of coarse he would... And finally the great Jane Birkin. You can't have bohemian chic in the title without her. She created it.
If you asked me which was my favorite, I would tell you it's a tie between Jane Birkin sitting on an old a/c unit and Lindvall standing in front of the post office. I love it because it's the perfect mix of Jimi Hendrix meets Almost Famous.

Counting down the days until Aspen...
This is an Aspen shoot from Vanity Fair in 2005. In high school I began saving random clippings from magazines and recently came across this article. In anticipation of my upcoming trip I decided to share.
