One of the most frequent questions I hear is how can people help so listed below are a list of items needed for tornado victims. You can donate funds or volunteer your time at Project Blessings. A Tuscaloosa based organization which donations 100% of its proceeds to tornado victims. Needed items:
Toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion, tooth brushes, toothpaste, feminine products, ect.)
Diapers (adult and children) - great need.
Clothing (boys and girls socks, underwear all sizes)
Shoes (all sizes)
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Towels
Duck tape
Snack items (crackers,little debbies cakes)
Donations can be dropped off at Samaritans Purse based out of the First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa (Fellowship Hall) at the corner Greensboro Ave and 9th Ave.
