You are woman?

I was going through the most recent edition of Harper's Bazaar when I came across this terrible ad. The girl looks so awkward, the tag line, "You are woman?" and what the hell is up with that horse's tongue? I showed the ad to William to get his opinion and he responded, "What do you expect from the French".

The ad is for French Connection. Oh William....
